Recycling Pallets

Shipping Pallets can be recycled by all university departments at the Physical Plant location on Peques Rd. Pallets can be dropped off behind the garage in their designated area. Below is a picture of the proper area for shipping pallets to be recycled. These pallets must be delivered by the department wishing to recycle the pallets. The recycling center will not pick up pallets to be recycled. To find where to properly recycle shipping pallets at the Physical Plant, go to the back of the facility near the covered storage area, there you will see signs specifying where these pallets can be dropped off.

Recycling shipping pallets, like recycling any material, is a choice to be made by each department. In the event that your department does not wish to recycle their shipping pallets please dispose of them in a roll-off dumpster, not a front load dumpster. There are two permanent locations for roll-off dumpsters on campus. The first is at the west campus located in the San Saba Hall parking lot. The other is located at the physical plant on Peques Rd. This roll-off is directly by the pallet recycling drop-off area.
