Recycling Procedure and Location
Places to recycle are located throughout campus - within academic buildings, residence halls, outdoor areas, and dining halls. If you are faculty or staff you can recycle many items right in your office or building. Students in residence halls have recycling stations located within the lobby. The campus community may also take advantage of our drop-off area located on the west campus at 602 Moore St.
Single Stream Recycling
Single stream recycling on campus is different from single-stream residency recycling. Single stream on campus means you can place all empty containers including plastics #1-7, metal, aluminum, tin, and glass into any designated single stream container. These containers are any bins marked with a plastic bottle and aluminum can sticker. Mixed paper and cardboard should be kept separate.
